Greetings,
We are big on ensuring our tickets have the appropriate "Type (Free Field)" selected when categorizing the ticket type for new tickets (when dealing with reporting). Is there a way to make this option more visible on the default ticket menu, verses having to go into Miscellaneous to select it from a drop down list?
Also, is there a way to enforce the ticket engineer to select a Type; versus simply accepting the (General) Type the system defaults to. We find that ticket owners forget to modify this; since the option isn't visible without having to go and find it, and we have to go in and manually update them to reflect the correct locations periodically.

Re: Free Field Visibility
Hey there,
you can probably play around with the module registration:
Syslog -> Ticket::Frontend::MenuModule###310-FreeText
And change the parameters there. You could copy from another module, but maybe it suffices to remove the ClusterName and ClusterPriority entries.

Re: Free Field Visibility
BINGO! That did the trick. I was able to disable/enable/modify the sections we commonly use. Also, removing the ClusterName and ClusterPriority did in fact remove it from being within a drop-down option as well. Thank you.RStraub wrote: ↑02 Jan 2020, 11:28 Hey there,
