Hello,
the syslog of our system is showing errors concerning the mysql connection about every half an hour:
OTRS-otrs.Console.pl-Maint::Ticket::FulltextIndexRebuildWorker-12 Lost connection to MySQL server during query, SQL: '
OTRS-otrs.Console.pl-Maint::Ticket::FulltextIndexRebuildWorker-12 MySQL server has gone away, SQL: '
I tried changing variables like wait_timeout, interactive_timeout, connect_timeout etc. but that didn't help. Any ideas where those errors are coming from?

Re: Database connection issues
Hi,
Lost connection (MySQL server has gone away) is usually MySQL issue. It is too slow, or min package size is wrong or network down.
You have to look into mysql
regards
Flo

Alright, thanks for the reply.

Re: Database connection issues
No, it's most probably mysql. OTRS is doing something that exceeds MySQL parameters.
OTRS 6.0.x (private/testing/public) on Linux with MySQL database.
